These terms govern use of the Amiguito app, available in Spanish and English for users in any country. By downloading or using the app you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1. The service
Amiguito is a daily-utility app that shows the USD rate and other currencies, weather, news, reminders, and AI features (chat, customizable AI agents, group chats, outfit advice, and food suggestions), with USD/weather/news content scoped to your country. Information is provided for informational purposes only.
2. Reference information, not advice
- Exchange rates: USD and other currency values are for reference and may differ from your bank's or exchange house's rates. They don't constitute financial advice.
- Weather: forecasts come from third parties and may vary. We don't guarantee their accuracy.
- AI suggestions: responses from chat, agents, outfit, and food are generated automatically and may contain errors. They don't replace professional advice (medical, nutritional, legal, or otherwise).
- Reminders: they're a helper, with universal and country-specific templates; you're responsible for meeting your own obligations (bills, insurance, taxes, paperwork, etc.) on time.
3. Your account
Some features (chat, AI agents, group chats, synced reminders) require an account. You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity performed from your account, including your agents and groups. You must provide truthful information when registering.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't use the app, chat, or AI agents for illegal purposes or to generate harmful, offensive content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Don't attempt to breach security, reverse-engineer, evade usage limits, or overload the service.
- Don't submit content you don't have the right to share.
5. AI usage limits
The free plan includes a limited number of AI messages per day (chat, agents, groups, outfit, and food, combined). The Premium plan includes unlimited local models and a set number of cloud-model messages per month. These limits may change; current values are shown inside the app.
6. Third-party content and links
The app may show news, exchange houses, restaurants, and other third-party content, as well as external links. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.
7. Free features and future purchases
Amiguito is currently free, subject to the AI usage limits described above. In the future we may expand the Premium subscription or show ads; if so, the applicable terms will be disclosed inside the app before any charge.
8. Intellectual property
The Amiguito brand, its design, and its software are the property of their owners. No rights are granted other than personal use of the app.
9. Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the app, or from decisions made based on the information shown.
10. Changes and termination
We may modify or suspend the service and update these terms. Changes will be published on this page. Continued use after a change implies acceptance.
